Chicagoland Weekend Meet
All:
I was so pumped to go to the July 11th meet up in Schaumburg, but at the last minute was called in to go to work! ****!
Anyhow, it would be great if we can all meet up on a Saturday, at a park, forest preserve, etc.? What are the rules at Busse? I used to meet up there a few years back.
C'mon guys - I want to meet all of you! Enough of you have sent me PM's on my "clean, custom" work and "how-to's" so I might as well show the car.
Let me know! I'm available for the next two weekends - name the time/date. I prefer the afternoons going into early evenings...

busse woods wasn't too bad when we used to go there. Can't have bottles of alcohol, i don't even know if you can bring any alcohol for that matter. One of the other guys can elaborate on this part. The Tree Police also gave everybody warnings about not having a front liscense plate last time, so we stopped going there.

It's Saturday night, 8:19PM, and this old timer (only 31) wants to have some car excitement! What the hell man, where do people hang out now? After having a family, I've gotten out of the "hang out" scene, but wife and kids are on vacation, I'd be interested in mingling.

Just pick a time and place already!
The best meets seem to be the spontaneous ones. Just pick a date and time and people usually will show up.
I especially enjoyed the last one at Streets of Woodfield, rent-a-cops and teeny-bopper overload notwithstanding (and I'm NOT talking about any of the Protege owners here).
The next two weekends I'm out of the fray for the most part, but I might sneak in for a bit if possible.

Hey everybody, my name is Drew and I just moved to Chicago about a month ago. I have an '00 ES and I'd love to meet some of the Mazda people from this area and see some hooked up cars.

I agree, the weather is going to be great for the next week, so long as we pick a day that doesn't rain. What are some typical meeting spots in the Chicagoland area? Sorry for my ignorance but I'm new to the area.
