I just got a brand new 2007 ms3 and about a month in, my foglight was destroyed. Some rock or something in the road broke the glass, and later the bulb. Since its such a specialized foglight assembly (some floating foglight design), its so hard to find. I could only get it from the dealership for 256.15 plus, they also wanted to install it for 150. I mean, I could definitely do it myself, but, its still very expensive. Does anyone have any ideas where I could find a stock assembly, or could regular 3s foglights fit in mine? I don't think they will, but, I would like some suggestions. Did anyone do any mods with different model foglights? Also, a "how to" on taking the assembly out would be AWESOME! Thanks!

a how-to would be awesome.. but you're the first person I've heard who broke it.

That is quite expensive though. I think it's $100 for each fog light for the Protege5.

Edit: nevermind. I forgot the 'general discussion' forum for each model is missing.. they just went *poof* gone.. so nowhere more appropriate than here for now. I'll at least move it out into the main tech forum (where how-to requests are)
