L.A./San Diego!!!!!!!!!!

There are autocrosses in the LA region scheduled at Hollywood Park in Inglewood (where the Lakers used to play) on November 2-3 and December 7-8. Saturday is a practice, and Sunday is the Championship. It costs to play, but those who just want a thrill ride could just show up on Saturday and go for a ride. Darryl (Mazdaspeedwest) and I are always there (as is a very fast EGT), and sometimes even Braden shows up to run. Several others have shown up, but not on practice days, and no one has run with us.
A warning though. Once you go for a ride...you are going to want to do it yourself. Just ask Darryl.

but the flyer from Buttonwillow has Noverber 2nd and 3rd at Norton AFB, rather than Hollywood Park.
the only way you'll know is if you come out, you most certainly will not be sorry.
BTW, David, hope all is well, we missed you this weekend, but then again, i may not have gotten 5th today , after a DSQ yesterday

Thanks dude, it was way too much fun....
Practices are a pre-register affair, you must send a $40 check in and be one of the 1st 80 cars to enter. Usually 6 morning runs and 6 afternoon runs and a work shift in between, but lately, the format has been, work for 2hrs and run whenever you want. which works out well for the # of runs you can get and when organized, can work shift on the fly.
email me for the info.

Oh well. They were going to try to get Hollywood Park, but I guess that didn't happen. Glad I didn't volunteer to Safety that one. Hate having to get up THAT early (HP is a 20 min drive, Norton is about 1 hr and 20 min.).

Just figured out where your pictures were taken (from the hill corner station). So, unless they were different runs, they are out of order. The right picture is the turn before the left.
And they must have a pretty good zoom.

Good eye my man!
right, but i felt they looked better this way, and if i staggered them, they'd kinda line up but your right, they are different runs, cause i drfited those each time, the car just wanted to and it felt just fine doing it
it was some crazy digital camera, with some crazy lens, the photographer was with Buttonwillow.
BTW, check out the shot Steve Ekstrand caught of me here
