We Need some love in Orlando!!! <Disgruntled!>
Ok, i've asked before, but it seems that either no one with a protege or p5 live in orlando or the font on my previous posting about a meeting in orlando was not liked! C'mon, I thought that this was a community where one could come for support and get information on how to get linked with other proto newbies and enthusiests. If a meeting was not going to be held in Orlando, they maybe someone could have suggested some other option. it seems like everyone on this forum has already seperated themselves into little clicks already! I feel like trading in my protege for a civic simply because of the community and support they offer! (not to mention the utter tons of aftermarket and oem mods available for them!) ugh! <frustrated!>

orlando needs love too!
we've got an orlando group. but not much has been happening lately
With as many protege's as I have seen? maybe some more should be done! I don't know about you guys, but it seems like with the now dying release and hype of the Protege5 our little cars will go right back to being the inexpensive econoboxes that they were meant to be! Even with the Mazdaspeed Protege i don't think it will last because first off the car is limited production!
If mazda was to make this vehicle a continuous part of their line up then that would be different! I'm just tired of talking to stupid tuner shops who don't know what they are talking about when it comes to the protege or people like myself who just can't get connected with other with similar interests! Sorry about being so bitchy!

Ok Pseudo why so snippy? I just wanted a little advice as far as meeting up with some other Pro owners! Ok, so maybe my last post was a little too bitchy, but due to no one not so much as farting on my Orlando Meeting post I found it very frustrating. I am indeed a car enthusiast and i will be @ the Tampa meet to demonstrate that to you and of course to meet some of the people in the florida protege scene!

jaymaz20,
Tell you what, you want to organize a meet for Orlando area pros? I will gladly put the information on our Yahoo Groups page and send out an email to the members of our chapter. Nothing has been done since October due to the fact that we had such a bad turnout for the Protege Picnic before HIN. Plus, with the holidays and all, it has been a hard time to get some people together. I was thinking of having some type of meet in Jan some time, but will have to see how my schedule (starting new job) is going to be. What has happened is that there is the initial excitement for many people and then that excitement just lingers off into non-existance. There is just not the following like Honda or Toyota or Nissan has. I see way too many older (>50) people driving Pros and you know 99.9% are not into their cars the way we are.
Let me know, and we can put something together. I am getting my wheels/tires/springs this week and would liek to show them off. Might be going to the Tampa meet als, so if some people want to caravan down, lets hook up.
