...I already floated the idea to my fiance. First of all, Alabama's far from here. Second, I am getting married in July (22). Third, the Honeymoon is booked to the Oregon Coast, and we won't be back until early August. I wish there was a way to do it, because I really would like to.

Oregon coast?? maybe my alabama education is off...but what coast is Oregon next to??

 

...That would be the Pacific coast. It's my old stomping grounds. I went to college in Washington, and would hit the coast every spring break. It's gorgeous there. Plus, California's redwoods coast is not that far away. Never been to the south before in all my travels, except for Kentucky and West Virginia.

 

Alabama is beautiful year round but it's hot as **** here and if you're not used to it you'll think you're dying.

If anyone on the forum is seriously interested in coming down I'll use my travel connections from work to see what kind of rates I can get you to fly down for the weekend. I don't mind carrying people around or picking up and dropping off at the airport.

 

Yeah...but I wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to drive cross-country!!

 

yeah, it's a blast but I figure some people want to attend just not pay for gas! It's cheaper to fly than fill up nowadays.
