Alright, I'm DEFINITELY making this one (barring tragedy or catastrophic failure...). This time, the event's not the day after we have a night event that runs until 1:00 AM lol.

This time, you've got 3 weeks notice. Matt, that's plenty of time for you to schedule a day off of work . Since there are exactly zero solos in Atlanta for the month of September, I foresee a fairly large Georgia contingent at this event. I'd really enjoy seeong the familiar faces again, and of course seeing some new ones.

I'll be there when the gates open, just look for a guy with a backpack ( my laptop/digi cam/vid cam ) In a black P5.

oh, and I tried to drive a miata/mx-5, and it just wasn't going to happen. I would have had to steer using my pelvis. Plus my legs were still flexed past the pedals and couldn't see much because my view was obscured by the top of the windshield.

If you want to take pictures on course, make sure you talk to the event chair / steward / whatever about getting a spotter. There aren't any problems if you're just on the sidelines
