yeah, I want everyone to show up that can but it's real disheartening to try to organize something like this and have no'one sign up.

Ill sign up right now, but will have to get back in touch with you as soon as I know for sure whether I can go or not. More than likely I will, but I don't want to commit to this yet when I don't know 100%. Cool?

This seems to be the common problem, Even the 16 yr olds that were on the JBO were committed to doing something the next year before the event was even planned and we can't get adult to alter schedules for a get together that has dates in place and is 6 months off.

I think it'll be tough to get people to make a long drive after they just did it in july.....

..there is the HUGE Nationwide meet in Tampa happening then.

Tampa is in noway "central" enough for a nationwide meet.

If this doesn't take off, oh well. It just means I don't have to work countless hours for no pay.

Well, it would be a 10 hr drive from OK City, which wouldn't be all that bad. I could probably go all by me onsies, since BobMooreMan would probably have the busiest weekend evaR because of the holiday on 9/4 and all that. Sucks that he works on weekends!

Well, it looks like there is some interest over on the MS forums...that's a good sign.

I'll be there 100%. Supercharged P5 (if it's not by then I swear to god someone is going to die), and possibly a Miata.

I'll try to get Alex and Justin to come up too.

Hey Matty, the next weekend (6th-10th) there is a huge rotary meet up there. http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=76367

So unless you want to reschedule, you probably wont get any RX owners involved. You could talk to the organizers of this event and see if they want to join forces.

Count me in....I'll come, even if I have to do the 10hr drive by myself. Maybe I can get a trailer for the Nanner and bring my bike too

well, we may not get the attention or support I'd like if we can't have a strong showing. This may be doomed from the begining.

sounds good. What I REALLY need though is a current list of people who've "signed up". I need to compile it all into one big list here so I can present it to the higher ups.
