Just got them yesterday. They were used and have a few curb scrapes on them, but nothing major.

Oh yeah...and I cleared my corners too.

I'm not too crazy about outrageous rims...even the kinds that come stock on a lot of the VW sedans now...just don't like them. I figured these would be different enough, but would stay conservative enough to keep a clean looking car.

I have a couple reasons not to drop my car...yet:
1. When I bought my car, I opted to get the 7 year extended warranty. Never had any plans to upgrade on performance parts, so I figured mechanical insurance on the car would be a good idea. And since the suspension on the Protege is what makes it so great, I don't want to mess with it, at the risk of voiding the warranty on it. (I know about all the proof clauses...but I'd rather not even risk it)
2. In the movie theater business, films are carried around in "cans" that can be EXTREMELY heavy...up to 50-75 lbs each. At one time, I carried 12 cans in my car, weighing it down to the point that the wheel well was covering the top of the tire. If I lower it and end up carrying the load that I did before, my muffler would be scraping the ground.

Sorry, Orangealpha. I have no idea what part number they are. I bought these off of the second-hand rack, and there is basically no info on these things. I'm still trying to figure out on whether these are 17x7 or 17x7.5

Try giving a tire shop a call and asking them if they'd know. You have my permission to print out a copy and bring it in if you want. I can also give you a higher resolution picture if it helps, too.

I didn't try it myself. I got a shop to take the amber out. From what the guy said, it was pretty hard work. Not complicated...just tough to get the light housings open.
