Just for your info I own a 91 Protege GT, white in colour and it still looks and drives as good as the day I picked it up. It now has 210000 km on it, only regular maintenance has been the expense.
No breakdowns. I have just purchased a P5 and will let my kids drive the old one. The P5, although not quite as fast as the GT makes me feel good with it's bright yellow colour.
