people think i have some type of 'performance' exhaust on it...but its just stock...but its loud as hell! maybe a bad muffler?

i seem to beat other 97's without a problem...also corollas and cavaliers constantly from a roll...wee

 

i have a 97 Kia Sephia 1.8L (same as ur 2nd gen engine). My car made a sweet exhaust sound even b4 i made any mods. After i put on a cone filter and cut of the resonator, it makes a NICE sound. When idling, i sounds like it has turbo (like my cousin's eclipse gst).

I guess it's something with our engines.
