In the process, the pin that regulates how quickly the glove compartment door opens came loose from behind the glove compartment (see pic). I looked around and could not find where it attaches. glove compartment door pin reattachment

I changed the cabin air filter on my 2018 Mazda 3. In the process, the pin that regulates how quickly the glove compartment door opens came loose from behind the glove compartment (see pic). I looked around and could not find where it attaches. Does anyone know how to reattach this piece?
