Hello everyone. For various reasons related to my health, namely chronic back issues, I traded in my 2016 MX-5 ND Sport (6M) for a 2017 Mazda 3 Grand Touring (Red). The Miata was a fantastic car for me for about two years, but the novelty wore off for me getting in and out of it. Miatas depreciate quickly based on everything I've read, but I think my favorite dealer was pretty fair with me. I owed 19K on the MX-5 and walked out the door at 25K with the Mazda 3 after the trade. True, it is a 2017, but it's a Grand Touring. Not too bad, I suppose. You always lose when you trade, but I had to at this point. The Mazda 3 is amazing. A quiet tank of a car with things I'll be learning to use (or not) for years. I guess it was at the dealer in the showroom for a while, so they had to put a new battery in it from people playing with the lights and what not. The Smart City Brake Support fault light is on, but their service department was closed and the salesman told me to bring it back in to have it calibrated or reset. No worries there. Cavalier Mazda in Virginia Beach rocks! It's where I bought the Miata as well. Anyway, a new chapter with a new car. I love it!
