Anyone have a 2016 Mazda3s Grand Touring yet?

Hello all!

Unfortunately, I'm caught up in the VW TDI scandal. I currently own a beautiful, loaded 2012 Golf TDI which I intend to sell ASAP and purchase a 2016 Mazda3s GT 5-door. I loved the Golf until these recent revelations about VW. I simply can't continue to support them after this BS.

Anyway, I posted this to see if anyone has purchased a 2016 3s yet and if so what they think of it. I test drove a 2014 with the 2.0 a while ago and I liked it, but after driving a TDI with tons of torque for 3 years, I'm more interested in the 2.5 now.

Any thoughts, concerns, complaints, warnings, etc?
Real world MPG?
Anything I should know as a 1st time Mazda customer?
What kind of deals (discounts) are people getting?

Thanks,
Don

I have a 2016 s touring mazda3 and love it. I traded an 08 mazda 3. The seats seem a little stiff and lack on the upper back support and cabin seems a little smaller but other then that, the car is amazing. Traffic is bad where im at so right now im at about 28mpg i have also been playing with sport mode. Driving back from the dealer i was up around 47mpg. I paid just over 23k out the door with the employee family discount. We picked up a 16 mazda6 for my wife too. With mazda you get a loyalty discount for buying a previous mazda, so thats pretty cool. All and all i think i made a great decsision getting the 2.4. It was some get up and go, the outside is gorgeous and the inside looks amazing. Lots of features you usually find in high end vehicles and just fun to drive. Hope that helps.
