i have a 2007 Mazda3, well kept. Oil light came up & engine blew without any warning. Is it a manufacture defect? Any body got in touch with Mazda? what was the response? Should i get engine replaced or get rid of it?

 

Have checked the oil? Maybe you were running no oil that is why it blew. I doubt that the oil pump would fail for it mechanical.
