can u connect speakers directly to deck with rca? will deck power speakers?

bassicly in my protege i got 2 subs, and i added speakers in rear doors, and changed one in rear dash, those 4 are running on amp, and subs on another amp, but before they were all connected i used my stock front door speakers on deck and they worked perfect but once i c onnected the 4 other speakers and subs (with rca) my front speakers stopped working, they were connected with stock harness, now is it just tht my deck stop sending signal bc my rca outputs are sending out to my amps so bypassing the stock speaker wires? bc right now my car is unbalanced bc all sound comes from behind and no sound from front speakers.

thanks in advance

RCA's will not power a speaker directly, they are low power only, designed to drive an amplifier... no way around it.

Though most decks have RCA and speaker level outputs.

how many sets of RCA outputs do you have? most head units have 3 outputs; front, rear, sub. make sure you are not connected the front RCA out into the amp. that will cut the sound from going to the front speakers and direct it to the amp. my head unit supports RCA out as well as direct output to the speakers, yours may not.

it would be best to run RCA output from the head unit to the amp. then run all speakers from the amp. the amp will provide most consistent performance as well as the loudest bang from your sound system.
