Hey all! I'm new here.........just bought my first Mazda last Friday and I'm thoroughly enjoying it! I've read about the trip computer hack and was wondering if I put a 2006-2008 6 disc in place of my stock 6 disc if I could take advantage of the hack? Anyhow, glad to be part of the "family" and look forward to hearing back from some of you. Thanks in advance for the help!

 

if you have a 2004-2005 the 2006 and up head units will not work in your car.. they have different plugs.. so for those of us who own a pre 2006 were screwed

 

I have a 2009. I was told that I need to get one from after 08.5. due to a change in the wiring/harness. Got any info pertaining to that?
