Anyone know where I can get Orange caliper paint?

I would prefer to get a Brush-On application.

BTW, Ive asked this question before last year, just wanted to toss the question around again in case someone came across it. Thanks

G3 makes some in Orange, as well as almost any colour now.

They've expanded.

Try Tremclad brush on. I've had mine done with Tremclad for over a year now and it's held up really well.

Yeah, I meant G2 and I've seen the can myself. I don't know why you can't find it. Maybe websites don't have it yet?!

A quick search of google brought up these links.

http://www.xs4all.nl/~sotty/car/Brak...nt_Orange.html

http://www.spmotorsports.com/brake_caliper_paint.html

http://www.cacustomcoatings.com/brak...paint_kits.htm

There are tonnes more, but these sites all have orange, and you can find more too by searching.

You can always go to a paint shop and get them to make you some high temp paint in whatever colour you want. Expensive, but if you want the orange a certain colour, then that's your only option.

Oh! Sorry, I thought you meant the G2 Brush-on paint. I dont think they make the orange in that. I might buy a can of orange spray paint and see if I can brush it on. Ive read about other people doing it with success. Thanks for the links tho!

Go buy some orange high-temp engine paint, spray it into a bowl, wait a few minutes for it to partially set up, then brush it on! I know it sounds a little ghetto, but it works, and it's cheapter than buying dedicated caliper paint. I used engine enamel on my calipers and it's held up very well.

What parts of the caliper shouldnt be painted? Ive seen pictorials for painting calipers, but none of them ever tell you what not to paint. I know it might be obvious, but I just want to be safe

Once you get the wheel off, you'll pretty much see what you need to paint. Just don't paint the pad itself or the fluid hose and you'll be fine. Also, us a heavy duty brake parts cleaner before you paint. I even wire-brushed my caliper to make sure everything was as clean as possible. Just don't get any cleaner on the hose.
