hey, man. that's pretty dang clean. i've overlaid different colors (sheetmetal really) over my car in photoshop to get a different car, as well as grafting parts of it to get a consistent color. did you graft or how did you do it?

 

i just selected the part to color, made a new layer, filled w/ yellow, set that layer to "hard light"

Wow, I think that looks GREAT!

I know the worry was about the CF eyelids, but between the rest of the hood being CF, and the CF grill, the eyelids look fine and complement the whole look!

 

I agree, the eyelids look badass!! I visited a local collision center to see how much they would charge for a paint job, and it's only gonna cost me $60. I say that's well worth it .. so the hood is gonna be on its' way to get painted very soon. I'll post real (non-Photoshop) pics as soon as it's done.
