Just got confirmation that I will be headed home on Tuesday. If my relief hadn't been able to make it I was looking at another month on board due to schedule changes/underway time. So I got that going for me! I'll be planning my parts installation scheme on the flight home, since I will be rather busy once I get there !

How long will you be home?

 

Four months. That is one good thing about this work, the time off. I will have to make sure my vacation check stretches, especially if I don't get to come back out on time. That might be hard if I get a house as planned, but I can always go work at McDonald's! It also means no more buying parts for any of my toys, but I think I have enough stockpiled to keep me busy for a while.

 

Hah, good for you! Cant wait to see your car after you put all your stuff on!
