looks good...was I right or was I right?

The condition of the filter (and surface area) is more important than the type of filter. I bet it sounds good also doesn't it? uh huh...

Not as drastic of a change as i saw in my 94 lx but it still sounds better, turkeys louder and the exaust sounds louder too. I appreciate your help by the way. I dont know if it feels like there is more turbo lag or what it seems to hesitate a lil and then when it starts spooling everything seems better then normal its just that initial hesitation, do you what causes this or am i half baked?

It's german. It means brilliant. I'm working on keeping up my french and german. I took those in highschool because I was planning to visit those countries when I graduated. It's been two years since but I still want to visit them. hence the practice.

Basicly I was complementing you.

IM pretty sure you need a length of pipe between the filter and the maf. It would help smooth the airflow so the maf can read right.

Generally stops hesitation!

HOws the filter, looking to ghetto rig an intake for myself. Better then ebay?

have you ever seen the stock airbox?? the maf is located about 2" above the filter element...If that. The MAF contains a waffle-type grid infront of the hotweire to stimulate the air charge...

actually drove it alot today and think that the ecu must have ajusted itself cause there is no more hesitation and actually felt like there could be an upgrade in performance. I am a lot more sastified today.

im not sure how increasing the length of distance the air must travel would reduce hesitation.

I cant really state anything about the ebay-take, but in my situation it makes sense to just put the filter onto the MAF, its cheap, its easy and does not look to bad either. I would not mind have shiny hard pipes but are they really needed? i would not say better then ebay or an injen but cant be much worse for 240 bucks cheaper
