Yup..those rod bearings went to ****...lol...the Eclipse was primarily a Auto-X car..and I had a knack for gearing down hard....until one day I heard the infamous "tick-tick-tick".

 

lol..did that to my Subaru as well, but it went tick tick tick CLANG......the rod wanted out...

 

ha ha...that happened to my 97...lol. Shot a rod and that ****** broke through the front of the block and took the starter with it...this happened on the street mind you...yaaaah...it was blue smoke, oil and chunks of engine pieces. I was stranded for like 2 hours!!!

THANKS....I miss her...had her built to the hilt and enjoyed EVERY mile in it...easy to work, very easy to drive way to fast in any condition, and a real gem on the track, rally cross course and autocross lot...

wats the little blue switch for?

 

It was for my arming switch for my first nitrous set up.....then I decided nitrous wasn't for me and removed it.

Ended up using it as a switch for aftermarket fogs...lol.

 

oh at first it was a switch to end all other switches. now it is a lite switch.


j/k its a mighty fine looking switch
