Talking Owned a Chevy Blazer..

My friend Michael(dixon , not the one that ratted on me with the trooper incidentand ) and I were pulling out of the Krystal parking lot and as I pulled up to the red light i give 2 quick 3000rpm revs, like i always do, well in the next lane is a chevy blazer...he gives me a dirty look and my friend just stares at em with a funny look...well I knew the guy in the blazer was about to try something...

Light Turns Green...he floors it...I get on it out of fun...he is still trying and i have him by mid 1st gear and leave him...I pull up the the next light...he pulls up beside me.. I decide to make him mad.. I put the car in "N" and roll back a little bit...Still not satisfied i put it in Reverse and back up a little bit...I think he was a lil mad by this point and floors it again...and...again I have him by mid 1st and then i leave him...

Damn checvy trucks..they get me off the line but i get them most of the time....that SUV never stood a chance....i think he got mad and pulled off b/c we didnt see him anymore...

Don't you just love guys who think they can take someone in a car with their truck? I would think the reason he jumped you was either torque from the at least V6 engine and/or when you first jump on automatics from a stop, they'll lunge for a bit (Chrysler Corp cars are great at this).

hehehe, yeah, Blazers are slow. But like you said, the tourqe and RWD and automatty jump together leave you on the line...but once thats over, its over. The things top out really quickly too...160km/h...which in my books is a low limiter...hell, cheap cavaliers(1996 bare base model auto) tops out higher than that...and so do most other vehicles with 4 wheels. Some SUV's are tricky though, and have some good oommff to them. Same with some minivans. Of course, they are not so much of a problem for me, but alot of people have troubles with them. My moms old minivan was 185hp, and would own most cars. She was the only mom I knew who would race people. And not make you feel like you where gonna die, somehow she never made it feel like dangerous driving...just fast. She still drives this way today in her Mazda3. Of course, now I have my own little toy

I've got a '97 Honda Odyssey (4 cyl).. it actually surprises me sometimes considering its (1) Honda, (2) 4 cyl, (3) auto and (4) heavy.

I think a funny one if when some has a "rebadged" vw gti with the golf badge on it. even tho the GTi is a 2 door and golf is a 4 door most people wont pay attention. so when most kids in civics and other rice cars pull up to my brother's car and want to race its great when he walks all over them becuase their facial expression is just classic its sorta like they **** themselves and saw a ghost at the same time.

See, I love it when someone surprises me like that, they get the biggest smile, and thumbs up big time. Maybe it's cause I respect anything fast...or slow even. I'm a good sport. I'm wierd though..cause I love to be beaten.
