Question Intake Pipe?

OK...As most of you know I got a new intake mod (there is a picture in my picture thread) and i was wondering if i can replace the Rubber Pipe with a Pipe like on a cold air intake the Autozone next to advanced auto where i live has the pipe that im talking about (curved and cut like needed sort of like a intake it just doesnt come with a filter) and was wonderinf if it was replaceable and if so...would I be able to feel a difference in performance?

I suppose you could, but I believe the benefits would be minimal. I'm making 125whp from the stock intake piping...
