Question 91 1.8l Sohc Vs 92 1.6l Dohc which is better

Ive got a 91 1.8L SOHC in my 91 Protege right now but i also have a 92 1.6L DOHC should i keep my current engine or swap them i mean i know a DOHC is usually Better then a SOHC but the DOHC is a 1.6L which is smaller plus I heard with the 1.8L SOHC U can add in a turbo (not sure if its true or not) But let me know wat i should do ThanX

hey buddy LEARN to spell. you post another bullshit useless unreadable post and i'll just remove it. Look you give fellow canadians a bad name, I am ashamed of the fact i have to share a province with a loser who can't spell. solution...learn to ******* spell.

as for a solution for your problem. i would suggest you look into selling the dohc 1.6L and buy a 1.8L dohc,(found in the 90, 91, 93 protege GT and 91-96 escort GT) the stock bottom end is identical as the turbocharged engine that came out of the EDM 323 GTX.
