Just bought a used protege :)
I just bought a 2000 LX a couple days ago but it did not come with a manual - does anyone have one? If you do can you scan and email it to me? I've already tried mymazda off the mazda website and they don't have the pdf version of it

Just another thought.. You can also get a book about the car at... Walmart i believe.. Not too sure, i am canadian, I get mine at Crappy Tire(Canadian Tire) But walmart has guides aswell for like $10. Just a thought. Dealership ones can get expensive.
yeah, i'm looking for the owner's manual
called some local dealers- they say its back ordered from mazda
they have 99 and 01 tho - i know in 01 they did a refresh
anything different from 99 to 00 other than new ip and chrome inserts?

If you look on eBay, a lot of times you can find them for anywhere from $7 to $20. I checked and all I found was one that's going for $19.95, plus $6.95 shipping. The url is:

If you keep looking, sometimes you can find them cheaper. I'm sure you can find it cheaper on eBay than you could from the dealer, if they had them in stock. I'm actually in a similar boat as you are, because when I got my car back from the shop when I brought it in for an oil change, the owner's manual was missing, and the guys at the shop all deny even opening up the glove compartment, but I know it was in there when I brought the car in, so I have to get myself a new manual too. Good luck.
