Can I put Arospeed RS-GT 17x7 4x100 42mm offset rims on my '01 Protege LX2.0? If not, why? And anything I could do to make them fit?

I just got this car, and just recently got into car customization, so sorry if question sounds basic =o)

Check out the fitment guide at the top of the wheel/tire section, its got a lot of good info in it. I'm pretty sure that offset will work, the size is definitely ok though. I can't remember if your car is a 4 lug or 5 lug though, just go out and count how many lugs are holding your wheels on.
