Arospeed Header?

Well as I have mentioned in a couple other threads my next performance purchase is going to be a header to go along with my intake and exhaust.

I definately dont want to spend 400-500 on the AWR header even though I know it is good.

What I do want to know is if anyone has had any experience with the Arospeed header for our cars?

I know they make them for the 90-96 1.6L, the 99-00 1.6L and for my 2.0L mp5/mp3. They sell for 199.95 plus shipping which is right in the price range I want and it is an all stainless 2 piece 4-2-1 header. Looks like it eliminates the first cat like the AWR header does and I cant see from the pictures if it has the o2 sensor and other connections that our cars require.

So has anyone had any experience with one of these headers? Or seen anything else on them as far as performance and reliability?

Thx guys, I ask alot of **** but I am one of those guys who is **** about knowing everything about a product before a multi hundred dollar purchase.

Is it even available? Thats a good price. But there are so many headers that are supposedly available that have part numbers, but when you try to order they are still "in development"...

Oh, and the AWR O2 bung seems relatively pointless. There's no CAT there to change the O2 readings, so I think its pretty worthless. 50% of the people still get CELs with it. Just get an O2 cheater.

What are you tlaking about? The bung is there now for the o2 sensor so that we won't get CEL's. Half the people that installed the newly developed header has not received CEL's.

I'm talking about the fact that the bung is pointless. All it does is sit downstream from the first O2 sensor. The point of the sensors is to show difference between each other due to a functional cat. There is no cat. There isn't going to be a difference in O2 readings between the two.

Check the other board my friend, I've seen at least 5 or 6 people wonder why they now have a CEL from the AWR header when they removed their primary cat. It seems perfectly logical to me.
