I wont to get Turbo kit for my Protege 1.6L but which one is good? and were should I get one? can some one help me out?

 

I think the only turbo out for the 1.6L engine is the Wagner Motorsports kit...someone correct me if I'm wrong.

While the turbo-kits one is a joke
A 30hp turbo kit is pretty useless to me, just bolt on a header intake, and exhaust for that.

The wagnermotor sports one is the best.

 

you think a header, intake and exhaust will make 30hp on a 1.6L motor?? It won't. It'll make more like 10-14hp.

Rod, get me a price on a package with a 1.6L turbo mani, downpipe, oil-lines, and charge piping from the non intercooled kit(pipe goes straight from turbo to intake)...i can get the turbo,fmu, and other pieces cheaper than andrew can offer

 

I'll see what I can do, but remember he makes his money buy selling his stuff at a small profit. The more pieces you take away from the package the less he makes. I"ll call him though, see what he says. He may have that stuff laying around.

 

just bolt on a header intake, and exhaust????????? what? no way man thats what I have write now I have cold air intake, 2.5" exhaust and good headers I also run spark plug wire set and new spark plugs and trust me I only got like 15-20hp more thats it!

I think turbo's are fun, I mean its fun to drieve with a turbo. It might not be as fast but just hearing you blow off volve........... its just cool.
