Lightbulb Any one have 18's

I was wondering if anyone had 18's on there first gen if so please list the size, rim and tire I really want to go with 18's insted of 17's. I just want to know if its possiable or will you need to go with a different strut or spring set up to fit them ,Thanks

i think you have more to worry about in terms of off set, and use very low profile tires. your speedo well also be incorrect.

move to proper tread

you arent going to be fitting 18's under a 1st gen. my 17's barely fit with 40 series tires AND spacers...

Go 18ins trust me i had plenty of space with 17in on with 205/35/17

who the **** makes 35 series tires for 17 inch wheels? cause i dont know of anyone...and my best friend works for a tire company...

i never said i didnt believe you dip ****, so cool your *** down. all i said was that i had never heard of 35 series tires for 17 inch wheels. i have even asked my friend about the possibility of using 35 series tires and his company (Kauffman Tire) either doesnt carry them, or he has honestly never heard of them either.

so in short, dont jump my **** bro. i was askin' a ******' question...

Thanks you guys I really want to roll 18's if possiable,What would be a good tire set up with the 18's, I want something really lowprofile (skinny as I can possiablly get) If anyone has any pics or can find any on the web with 18's and a good tire pattern please post them Thanks and be nice,were all Mazda friends here Thanks

i seriously think that 18's are a bit much my friend... I have 17's and from what I hear and have seen, 17's are big enough. And remember, the larger the wheel, and the skinnier the tire... the easier is it to hit a curb and **** YOUR ****... Peace

Wow, I didn't know they went that far with the "low-profile." What is the ride quality like, I wonder, with something like a 215/35-YR19 (I know the guy was asking about 18s)? You do want some air underneath you.
