Any one have 18's

I was wondering if anyone had 18's on there first gen if so please list the size, rim and tire I really want to go with 18's insted of 17's. I just want to know if its possiable or will you need to go with a different strut or spring set up to fit them ,Thanks

i think you have more to worry about in terms of off set, and use very low profile tires. your speedo well also be incorrect.

move to proper tread

you arent going to be fitting 18's under a 1st gen. my 17's barely fit with 40 series tires AND spacers...:(

so in short, dont jump my shit bro. i was askin' a fuckin' question...

Thanks you guys I really want to roll 18's if possiable,What would be a good tire set up with the 18's, I want something really lowprofile (skinny as I can possiablly get) If anyone has any pics or can find any on the web with 18's and a good tire pattern please post them :) Thanks and be nice,were all Mazda friends here :D Thanks

gcfinest17 February-17th-2004 07:05 AM

my bad BRO i thought you were saying I was a bullshitter about they make 35 series for 17s.... I like that one {Dont jump my shit bro}

XxToKeSxX February-17th-2004 11:37 PM

i seriously think that 18's are a bit much my friend... I have 17's and from what I hear and have seen, 17's are big enough. And remember, the larger the wheel, and the skinnier the tire... the easier is it to hit a curb and FUCK YOUR SHIT... Peace

Wow, I didn't know they went that far with the "low-profile." What is the ride quality like, I wonder, with something like a 215/35-YR19 (I know the guy was asking about 18s)? You do want some air underneath you. :p

Lay Low February-19th-2004 05:44 PM

Thanks

XxToKeSxX, how true that is, I just thought it would look good if I could go as big as I could, Thanks, take some pics of your rims I would like to se your set up .........Thanks:D
