Flashing light Under dashboard.

This is really messed up. But when i am driving at night let's say on some dead highway with no lights, i notice that there is a light that is flashing under my dash near my pedals, it's not very bright but it flashes from time to time and i see my shoes lighting up a little bit. Now, am i going nuts here or has someone else seen it. I haven't had a good chance to check what it is, because i only notice it when i am in pitch black.
I know that it is not the alarm light because the alarm light is next to the defrost and it doesn't flash when i am driving.

Is there someone else who has noticed this..

WHOA! i will have to check it

Ok. i will have to check it out then. That's a pretty good warning if that's the case.
I wonder what's the easiest way to find that out?? Because it's only going on from time to time so it's wierd.. Unless i take apart my dash board and then just check manually. Any suggestions....

I always wondered how cars caught on fire... hmmm...

Allright, i will check it out.. thanx for the feedback..
