Question Questions On "International" P5's

Ok, so I'm not a total dummy, and I can figure things out for myself easily, but when I hear contradicting information, I get a little confused. I just have a few questions about what the P5 is known as internationally.

As I understand it, it is known as the Sport 20 in Europe and Japan, and has the FS-ZE engine. (By the way, any idea if the ECU's will work on the FS-DE?) The Sport 20 has been out since the 1999 model year, correct? The Protege 5 came to North America as a 2002 model year vehicle, and is what we're all familiar with.

I hope I've got all that straight, but please feel free to correct or add to it! I'd like to know the history on my favorite car in the world! (Well, second favorite. Gotta love the C5-R!)

Down Under it has two different names. In New Zealand it's the 323 SP20 Sporthatch and in Australia it's the 323 Astina SP20. In those countries it gets the same engine we do (98kW/130 hp) but slightly different equipment -- e.g., in Australia the car comes with standard leather wheel and shift ****, chrome door sill scuff plates, automatic climate control, in-dash CD changer and engine immobiliser. Price is a bit more as well -- A$29,180 for the five-speed (CDN$23,900/US$15,000).

It's only known as the 323F in Eastern Europe. In Western Europe and the U.K., it is simply the 323.

It's also sold as the Etude SportsWagon in some African countries.

With 2.0L engine it's 323 Sport here in north-east Europe, other are just 323 HB / 323 Sedan. But for example my Pro -99 is 323F just like 90&00 Protege said. We seem to have our own names for 323s. Or what do you think about mid 90's modelnames: Forte (=323F), Mio(2dr), Neo(something between Mio and Forte) and Familia (familiar sedan)
