where would i hook up the light wires on my aftermarket gauges, to only light up when i turn on my lights. I always here the dimmer switch wire is the one, are they talking about the dimmer wire for the radio??

splice it to one of the wires on the dimmer switch, your gonna have to find the correct wire by elimination.

 

run the wire out to the engine bay to the fuse under the hood for your headlights, thats what i did and it works good
