Door Panels

Here is a dumb question. Is a door skin the same thing as a door panel. I need to replace my driver side door panel and I am having trouble finding any online. I keep coming across door skins and I was curious about the difference.

are u talking bout the WHOLE panel or just the cloth part ? ... and if its saying door skin it could mean the cloth part of the panel, im guessin

DOOR SKIN - that is the METAL outer portion of your door....on the OUTSIDE....the part of your door that is PAINTED.

DOOR PANEL - the covering on the INSIDE of the door....it has your window controls, pull handle and map pocket in it....it just has a few screws and a few clips around the outside edge that holds it on.
