Who's in LONG ISLAND?
The last thread went dead, with no one coming up with anything.
So, I figure right now everyone just post with what town you're from and/or if you're willing to come to a casual gathering in NY. I'm not trying to organize something, but it would be cool to have a kind of thing where if you're bored you can say, "Hey, who feels like meeting up behind TriCounty?" And maybe have like 7 or 8 Mazda heads show up.
Optimistic, I know. Especially when this forum can go like a week without a single post. But my Friday night was pretty dead, and I saw a Mustang G2G outside Krispy Kreme on Hemp. Tnpk in EastMeadow. When I had a VW, I knew of a forum where you could always find 5-6 dubs show up an chill on short notice. Why can't we do this?
But for now, let's just get a head count. It's summer for chrissakes!

hey man, i'd be down. i for the most part just go driving on my weekends anywayz, and i usually go out to LI also (or frannie lou in queens). if others would be down, i'm there.

I went 2 years ago, back when I had a Jetta. It was cool, lots of different attractions. Show cars, lots of classes, a drag strip, an auto-x, burnout contest...good fun.

yo, i know what we can do. since i'm doing rev it up, as i'm sure others are doing, we can meet there. i actually compete on sunday but i'll be going on saturday as well. just a thought

Sorry I'm late to the thread - I don't check this section often enough.
I'm actually surprised I haven't seen forum members on the road - I travel for work, so I'm all over the Island, the Boroughs, upstate, Connecticut.
I flash my hi-beams at other Pro owners I see - mostly at P5's, and the occasional MP3.
I need to make up a card to "tag" other LI Pro drivers - stick 'em on the windshield in parking lots, mentioning the forum.
I suggested a meet at Belmont Park a while back - of course, it's only a mile from my house, but still - it'd make a nice meeting place, IMHO.

well just remember that Rev It Up is saturday and sunday. i'll be there both days. if you see my car and i'm not there (most likely be test driving ALL DAY
