PS 2 hoax?
PS 2 hoax?
Has anyone seen this auction on ebay? You bid so they can send you an address or an e-mail or something telling you where you can buy a Playstation 2 for like $22. Has anyone bought this? Is this a hoax? I wonder if they sell you a $22 broken PS2.
Is anyone selling theirs cheap? I dont' care about cosmetic appearance. AS LONG AS IT WORKS

If you have to ask yourself whether or not it is too good to be true. Then it usually is. Remember nothing in life is free.

Wait for the new PS2. The new version came out in Japan on May 15. Dunno when it'll hit US shores, but it will have an upgraded DVD player with it. New features include DVD-RW reading capabilities, 525p progressive scan DVD playback, and 30% less noise due to a redesigned fan inside the console itself. The IEEE 1394 ports (Firewire, what the iLink runs off of) have been eliminated from the new console.
A new DVD remote will also be out soon with two extra buttons. It'll feature an open/close disc tray button and also a power on/off button, two things that SHOULD have made it on the original control, IMO. The new PS2 will also have an integrated IR port so you won't need to take up a controller space in order to use your DVD remote.
