Question Taillight Swap On A P5

I've redone all the bulbs on the front of my car to a blue color, using Eurolite Xenon Crystal Fusion bulbs. I also changed the front signals / parking lights to a blue color as well with the Eurolites (VERY cool looking by the way,) but I was wondering how to do this on the taillights? I have located the three circular access panels in the cargo compartment, but I don't know what to do from there. There are 3 bolts directly behind the panels, but I'm then led to believe that to change the rear signals to the blue ones, I'd have to remove the entire taillight housing.

Has anyone got any advice on this? Also, what bulbs are required for the signals back there?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

taillight

Having replaced my driver side taillight, i can tell u that the whole thing has to come out (as indicated in owners manual btw). When u unscrew the housing and take it off the car; the wires leading into the car wont allow u to pull it off at first. Simply turn the bulb sockets and the bulbs will come out of the housing. As for the size im not sure. And that driver side is a bitch to pull out cuz the far screw is not totally aligned with its access hole. . .

The rear turn signal bulbs are 7440 type, full glass bulb, wedge type. BUT not of them fit nicely. So buy from a place that allows you to do a return. I changed mine to normal clear bulbs (not HID look) and I tried 2 different pairs of 7440's from different brands. The first pair wouldn't even go in the socket. The second pair was a very very tight fit, but it works great and have been there for 2 mths now...

The clear bulbs are really really bright! So to anyone who drives behind me... DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT MY BLINKERS! Hehe, from the rear view mirror, I've seen people put their palms against the steering wheel to block off some of the light.

And a warning to those who are going to change the bulbs... when you take those 3 bolts off and on, be careful not to drop the bolts inside the access holes. If you do you'll never find them again, just like me..

For some reason the MAzda bulbs are made differently then all the other bulbs I took out my taillight in my MP3 trying to change them and the **** on the bulb that hold it in the socket are like at 11 and 2, where as most bulbs are at 10 and 3. Numbers refer to a clock, thnk clock hands. Anyway I was pissed to find this out because none of my shops around here carry that type of bulb. Oh well...
