wtb: Eyelids for p5 in edmonton
Hi Mushi
I thought eyelids were made with some sort of vinyl tape so I would assume that you could get a piece from a sign maker and make them yourself. Would be a cheaper way to go I think.
By the way, are you in our local Edmonton P5 club? We have a member who has a sign making business and is doing stuff for the members of the club. Drop on by our site at

Our next club meeting is coming up in a couple of weeks and I can ask the sign guy about that. If you get it done at a store it would cost compared to you doing it your self.
The way you would do it is make a template out of paper and tape it to one of your lights. You may have to adjust the shape to suit your liking. Then copy it and flip it for the other side. Take these to a sign store and give it to them and ask for enough material to make that shape. The vinyl comes on big rolls.
There is a store that I use for my decals for now. It is D&S signs at West Ed Mall. It is on the lower level by galaxy land opposite Macdonalds.
Another thing to consider is that the material may be translucent so when your lights are on it will not block the light.
