what size rubber to go with 17's?

what size rubber to go with 17's?

im gettn 17" konin verdict (knockoffs) end of week and i was wondering if any1 knows what size tire will best fit this rim on a stock stance pro97?
if any1 has pics please post to give me an idea... .
for some reason the tire dealer doesnt think there is room for 17" on my car but i know there is...fill me in

also what is the black circle on the envelops when i post something ...is it there until i reach a certain amount of posts.

As for the wheels, I was looking at Konig Holes and the 17x7s tire size can either a 205/40/R17 or a 215/40/R17. Thats what the website said along with my local retailer. I'm pretty sure they'll fit on a 2000, but as for your 97, im not positive.
