BMW Type R
#7
I can almost forgive the spoiler (as it's not a bone stock car with only a spoiler)...but the 'R' come on...I'm reminded of the Civic I saw the other day with BMW //M logos, maybe the two of them got together and swapped badges (kinda like you do in boyscouts). Oh, and to the Civic's defense, I didn't pull the guy over and ask to see what was under the hood. It could very well have been an M motor in an otherwise stock Civic The lesson I learned here is "Always carry a digital camera with you" - you never know what atrocities lurk around the next corner.

Volvo's hottest introduction not involving a sport-ute for 2003 is the high-performance S60R. The R version uses the S60 AWD's four-wheel-drive system and a pumped-up version of the S60's turbocharged in-line five to produce 300 hp. It comes with a manual or automatic transmission and an electronically controlled automatic damper system (see Technical Highlight). A wagon version, the V70R, is expected soon after the S60R's February on-sale date. All S60 sedans and V70 wagons get leather-covered steering wheels for '03.
