Question on Mazda StrutBar

When you order the OEM one, do you have to relocate your Cruise Control or the bar has a curve for it ? Im so confuse after reading a couple of posts ... !

Also, has anyone here from Canada ordered it from Mazdastuff ? If so, what was the final price CND ?

Thanks

If you are worried about relocating the cruise control...don't worry. All you do is change a few bolts and turn the angle of the cruise control. It isn't hard at all, this bar was my first mod ever.

Pretty much...you put new plates on the top of each strut tower, relocate cruise control (if applicable), then bolt the bar down. There isn't much to it, directions are available. Mine came with them from MazdaStuff.com Good luck, very worthwhile and inexpensive mod.

Are you going to get the red P5 bar, orthe Silver Mazdaspeed bar? You might have a problem with the Mazdaspeed bar, as the MSP's don't come with cruise, and as such a bracket might not be supplied.

I bought the Mazdaspeed bar last week. I went to install it and after getting most of the way through, realized that the new bracket for the CC was missing. I went to the dealer and the part number was invalid. They called mazda and put an order in for the new part. The parts distribution service advisor knew what the part was before the sentence even finished. i am guesing they have had this problem for awhile and not addressed it.

Yup, they had this problem with the MP3 kit too. I have the Mazdaspeed kit, and not only was the wrong CC bracket supplied, but the parts were all mislabled. Fortunately I had all the correct part numbers from the FAQ so I was able to figure it out. I wish Mazda would get their act together.

You are most likely to get the silver MazdaSpeed one.
