Protegeboy,
Don't mind Psuedo..I cannot believe he could be that rude. Everyone isn't like that on this board. I believe we should all be a little more aware that the world doesn't revolve around native english speaking North Americans.
I understand the Protege is enjoyed by many people and as such I believe you should be treated in a more understanding manner. I think it speaks volumes that you would reach out for technical/general help in a language that isn't native to you. Our common bonds should be about the protege and not the languages we may or may not speak.
While I disagree with Psuedo (again) about the way he phrased his message, the fact is that it is of no real benefit for the SOHC engine. I have not done it to my car (which is also a 1.8SOHC) for that reason. You can at least count on me to help out as best I can.

Will a little more tuning make it help the SOHC? I'm prolly getting a head (maybe Wil's if it still works by the time I have the money...), but if I don't, I still want to get the VAF. At the moment, my cone filter killed my MAS (engine light -- it had to be replaced). I was thinking the VAF would solve my problem, but if it does'nt give me an advantage, what can I do to the stock MAS so that it can take the aftermarket filter??
Thanks.
Thanks.
