Clank!!!!!

I installed Sprint Springs on ES on the weekend. Over the last 4 days or so I hear a loud CLANK!!! whenever I go over bumps. Not to sure where the sound is coming from. More than likely the springs. I wonder could it be the perch that it is sitting on. I used the stock rubber thats on top and bottom of the perches. And I cut a 1/4 of the bump stop as well. Its really loud and annoying. Does anyone have any input on this situation?

Could be a number of different things. most likely the suspension bottoming out. How much do the sprint springs lower the car? If the springs are poorly desinged (which I doubt) they could be binding, meaning the coils are connecting before the suspension has fully traveled. Or the that **** in your trunk clunking off the floor becuase everything is so much stiffer??

mostlikely your springs. i had that problem on my H&Rs when
installed on a prelude. what you can do is to go radioshack
and buy some wire wrap organzisers and wrap it on every other
coil on the top. actually Neuspeed recommended this to me and
it worked great.

i installed eibach prokit yesterday and i rarely get that noise,
but im going to radioshack and getting some of that wrap too
just in case.

I've also heard of buying 1/2" fuel line, cutting it into 3/4"-1" long sections, slitting each section on one side, and wrapping them around the coils every few inches to keep the coils seperated.

this is just follow up on my eibach pro-kit springs. the metal
chattering noise doing over bumps was from my jack and
not the springs.
