TWM short shifter, help needed.

Hi. Can someone please confirm for me that the height of the gear **** actualy decreases by 2 inches with the installation of a 2nd generation TWM short shifter for a 2002 Mazda protege5. I live in Australia and i'm about to have one imported to me so i need to 100% on all the details of this shifter. Does anyone have any comments about this shifter. I was originally going to get the B&M but i then was told that the decrease in height of the gear **** isn't much at all. Also i'm guessing that the shifter would fit in the cars in Australia. They wouldn't have a different gearbox for AUS. and the U.S, or would they?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not too worried about the price. Along with the TWM shifter i'm allready ordering the Kartboy bushings from a Kartboy distributor.

Is there any advantage other than price in getting the Kartboy shifter? What is the **** height of the Kartboy.

Thanks for your help, but i still need that info on the TWM.

Thanks,
TDK
