6x9 speaker installation

Just purchased two 6x9 speakers from diamond audio along with some components...however my concern for now is getting those 6x9's in. what do you guys recommend the best way of doing this...ive got the 2000 protege. ive looked (and from some tinkering) it almost seems as if the 6x9 grilles are molded to the rear deck so i am confused. thanks for your help.

Don't forget to put it back on when you're done

Or maybe not. To each his own I suppose.

drop the rear seats, and there are a series of small push clips- take them out. They look like "O"s with a seperate solid center. Use a fine flat head or knife and pry the center up, and the whole clip will come out. Remove them all, and them push up on the whole back panel. If there is a third brake light, you will need to unclip the harness. Also watch contact between the whole rear deck and the rear window to aviod ripping up the defogger wires. Pull out the deck and you are there.
