Well I finally got hit. My car was broken into last night behind my apt complex. Stereo, Amp, Sub, and my backpack?! Thats right they stole my backpack... So now I have to shell out about 300 bucks to get all my books AGAIN! I dont care about the stereo ****, probably enough to buy some crackhead a rock and some air force ones but there wasnt ANYTHING worth while in my backpack... ******* POS people.

You know why they stole your backpack, b/c it was there. They would have taken anything they saw, regardless of what it was. I bet once they found out it was just books, they dumped it. When my car got broken into the dumbasses took everything (which wasn't much). It was dark so they grabbed 10 dollars worth of burnt disks, 2 dollars in change, and everything in my glove compartment (my owner's manual). They definitely didn't look at what they were taking, b/c I doubt a manual was much use to them. They also missed the 180 dollar sunglasses sitting in the slot behind the cupholder (i love that place).

 

I agree with both Protege_Joe and arl240. If you don't find your books at the used-book store or school, you might wanna look in the bushes around where you got ripped-off. Maybe the little som-bitch dumped 'em nearby. You know he wanted to get out of your car as quickly as possible, so he most likely grabbed everything he could carry, and went through the "loot" in an ally/grove of trees/where-ever. Unless he was smart enough to sell them,(and thieves are notoriously stupid),they're probably around your car.
