Hmmm...

There are two things I swear by in life... the Mac OS and the rotary engine. Simple... Smooth... and performs like nothing else out there!

I hate the new MAC commercials....

"My name is Dorky McJackass, and I can't use windows at all. I'm a Windows LAN administrator. I go home and look at kiddie **** on my mac because it's so much easier, can't do that with my PC!"

I don't have a problem with Macs but I don't like their campaign they're running.

I find the Mac useful in 3D modeling/animation and other multimedia software types

those new commericials are quite stupid i think.... but in a way the campaign is quite ingenious no matter how stupid, because the good percentage of people do not know what can be done on macs compared to pcs.... and heck it does have value, but i like the old, more fun commercials (the first G4 commericial with the tanks is cool)

I agree, people don't know what the new Macs are capable of, solely because people don't like "Change".

Penguin Power

Get you a Linux Box. I use my 2 Linux boxes for many uses. They are ultra stable compared to Windoze, and do true multitasking. You can use Linux for anthing from a firewall, to a Windows file server(via Samba), or use it for a router! As some know, the movie The Titantic was rendered partially using Linux! There is a version Linux called Darwin for Apple computers. One more tidbit, you can obtain, distribute, and install Linux for free! That's right, free. The only condition is that you distribute the source code with it.

You're all aware of course that Mac OS X is Linux with applications. And games.

My friend just got a 1G DP. How fast is it? RC5 at 20,000kkeys/sec. He ripped his CD collection (200 discs) in 3 days.
