Im interested in converting my protege to a manual. I have a basic idea of what ill need. I plan to get a used tranny, but what else to i need? clutch setups and all? im trying to make a complete list so i know everything.... any input will be helpful

this one's been covered a few times before on the forum, see this thread for some good detail (even though the specific discussion is for a 3rd gen, I am sure most of it applies to other model years as well)...

the short summary is that for the money involved you're better off selling the car with the AT and getting a car that has an MT in it already
