TII Vs. 944
My car is a stock 91 TII with all my go-fast sitting in the garage waiting for the streetport. I normally do not street race, but i was kinda persuaded by peer pressure 
Picture if you will a caravan of FCs heading back from Rotors Vs. Pistons in Gainesville. As we're all heading out I'm 3rd back in line following a vert' and a GXL. The caravan catches up to a Porsche 944 (believe it was an N/A, but it did have a full roll cage.) Our point man in the GXL passes him and the 944 pulls in after him. We all hit it! Too funny seeing all those 7s after a 944!
The 944 keeps on our lead guy, the 'vert waves me past and I'm reeling in the Porsche. Intersection comes up fast and we all have to stop for a light and make a left onto 301(?)--a nice divided highway. Light turns green and everyone accelerates into the left turn onto the highway. Again we all go. I can't remember how it happened, but I end up next to the 944 doing about ~60mph. I give him a thumbs up and we both go. I was able to get through third gear and shift to fourth while I heard him shift through three gears. We were even for most of third then I just started to pull away.
We shut down and I proceeded to lead the caravan down the wrong road. I had no idea where we were. Otherwise, it was a great day. Got to see an 8 second FC.
