well saturday night, we took the pro and one of my friends civics out to do a lil racing. not long after being on this strip through town, an old 240sx rolled up. it was horrible looking with a huge wing, altezzas, APC written all over it, and a HUGE tach. so i was like ok i gotta beat this guy, and he defanitely was ready to go too. we were both rolling in 2nd at about 20mph when we hit it. we went to about 70, and after a perfect shift from 2nd to 3rd, i had him by about a car. i couldnt' tell if he had an auto or not, but im guessing it was a manual bc of his huge tach. after that we chilled for a lil, making sure no cops were onto us. then back out to the circut, we met up with a mid 90s sentra. he was alone, and i had a friend in the car. started rolling in 2nd, and again went to about 70. through 2nd we were dead even. i shifted at about 6k, a little early and he pulled about a half car on me. after the shifts, we were dead even and i let him go after i realized i wasn't catching at all at 70 mph. i was satisfied with its performance tho, for the most part.

 

Nice kill. Was the Sentra you lost to an early model SE-R?

BTW, your car does look fast. You can fool anyone.

 

i duno if it was an SE-R or not, my friend only saw the back of it really. he never got far enough ahead for me to see the back of it, so im not sure. all we knew was that it was a sentra. later

 

Dumb question by why did you roll at 20 to start.
Why not a dead stop?
